This is my first blog of I hope many.

I am going to be a daddy to Zebastian Zidane in about 6 weeks. Right now I am hoping and praying that my wife has a smooth delivery and that Z comes out healthy.

I called my wife and told her I was going home as I just got done working out in San Jose at BrickHouse Fitness Crossfit, I sent her my ETA through my waze app which I love. I think I got home around 7:45ish and was told to come to the room that I had a 3 month anniversary gift waiting for me. I didn’t really want to go to the room as I wanted to watch ESPN, I went to the room and my wife Gabby was acting a little weird as she had everything off and handed me a card to read out loud. I loved the card as it had an UP theme (Disney/Pixar) and she made it to be “Our Adventure Book” I read it out loud and was going through it and didn’t think of anything until I got to the last page where it said something like the two of us will now become three.

I was immediately brought to tears, I always wanted to be a daddy and I was just overwhelmed with joy as I am going to be a daddy. I was and still am scared, nervous, anxious, and excited to have a baby and share everything that I was taught and have learned with a person that my wife and I created.
